I was actually in Boston last night. Technically there on work, but had to go out to a party and root for the sox ( being a cubs fan, it's easy to pick the underdog ).

The place went nuts when they won, and I have to admit it was fun walking through the streets cheering and getting honked at ( not taking part in the quasi-rioting, we were well behaved, just a bit celebratory ).

Though I paid the price, as I was on a 6am flight out of Boston, and didn't get back to my hotel until about 2am, so just enough time to shower, pack, and head to the airport. Oops. But it was worth it.

Nice timing Chris, I am very jealous.  So where were you when you watched the game?

Sorry, no plasma high-def here...  up for a party, though.

I used to live around the corner from Fenway and we were able to view games from our apartment building roof.  Oh well.  Those were the days (20 years ago) when we'd roll out of bed at noon on a sunday and stroll to Fenway to buy $6 bleacher seats for that day's game.

I was at the the Roxy in the theatre district, then down in the back bay area ( near hynes conv. center ).

Watched some of the more interesting displays of rioting safely from TV.

I want you to know Ellen that I kept my record spotless and did not watch the game.  Then again I was at work so that part was easy.  I do admit to doing a quick check of ESPN.com when I got home to find out what the final score was.  Hey I'm still up for a party...why don't you drag Mike & Matt & TAGP & Mr. TAGP up here and Patti and I will find another excuse to drag out the new barbecue and cook something up.  Then ya can watch the game on the big screen!

Heyyy back back back back back!! How did I miss this thread? That's very gracious of you max! It didn't come up on my email alert

Don't wory, I almost never take things too seriously, especialy sports. Definately not worth the two deaths this week involved with the Sox. Very sad to have the ALCS tainted with a shooting/murder and a post game croud control faitality.

On a lighter note, I am almost ashamed to be going out camping this weekend. Will probably miss most of game one. Shame on me.
