phoenixazul - 2007-10-04 5:39 PM But I'd also like to be a professor/lecturer. I love academia.
It's my dream job too...I'm just lucky enough to have already gotten it. Being a professor rocks. Kristen

It just to be my dream job too and gotten it too..   But then I discovered consulting and all the travel that comes with it...  I love that...

But in reality my dream job...   International food critic...

Graphic arts/photography would be my first choice. I blew it...I ended up in science when I really should have followed my bliss. But after staying home with my kids for 9 years,  I'm going to be a teacher and I love that! I love being in the school and working with kids.

Don't hate me ... out of several possibilities for dream job, everything I do now is a selection:

- I have my own dog-care business (I primarily do training)

- I am a dog swim therapist (heal doggies post-surg, rehab, old, arthritic, and also for fun/sports)

- I work part-time writing and editing education manuals for a fitness company

I would also like to be a neurosurgeon; a poet; and teach inorganic chemistry, molecular genetics, and writing at the college level. I have done everything but the neurosurgery (unless you count rats and rabbits).

Dude, go for it! If I could have afforded one, I would have liked to have one. Weddings are like conducting a huge orchestra where everyone plays together for the first time on one day, and did I mention they're recording it live? Its a brilliant logistics puzzle. It seems like one of those things that has fairly flexible (but sometimes crazy) hours, so plenty of time for the wee ones and for training. (secretly, the hidden girlie girl in me has really enjoyed planning the wedding...but I hate waiting for the day!)
