Comments:

I went out fast... Dillard and I took turns busting up the wind for the first mile. We got there in 5:39... The second mile was slightly uphill and I managed to run a 5:51... I expected a fade into the wind on mile 3 and I did fade but not by much as I held it together for a 5:53! When I turned to for the final .2 miles I was hurting and when I could finally see the clock with a little less than 100 meters to go I could see my time at 17:40 or so... I went into sprinting function in order to get in under 18! I'm very pleased.

Well, congrats on yet another fantastic race!  *yawn* on the rr though.  No stories?  You weren't chased by the headless horseman or anything?  Maybe Barbie was trying to get you?  Nothing?  I was expecting MUCH more drama.

  I kid.  I'm a kidder.

That was a great race!  I told Tyra after the race I thought you and Mark were drafting off each other on that back stretch before mile one but I wasn't sure.  That was really smart!  Once I saw it I tried to do the same thing but the guy left me in the dust as did the speedy girl in the green.
