Driving in my car yesterday, I heard "Magic Bus" followed by "The Magical Mystery Tour" on the radio and, for some reason, my mind wandered to this event coming up. Neither of these somgs mentioned tired, sweaty people in a van at 3am cheering on some runner.

Just so we're clear, that radio station will NOT be on in said van.

Are we supposed to be averaging 7.6 minute miles to complete this race in 24 hours?    I am just asking as our team Avg times do not come anywhere close to this???  Should I worry now, or after the Saturday party?

There's no requirement that we come in under 24hours. Only the top 9 teams did that last year.

It is doable though

It's downhill from Wickenburg -- - maybe we can get Jerry some Heelys.

Who is deciding which legs of the race are run by whom? Just curious - - we do have some time.

UMM do you live in Hawaii? Cuz if you do then I am UBER jealous!

And no, I have no idea on the times yet, but am trying to figure it out. Sent an email. I think it might be staggered based on team paces.

I talked to the Sole Sports chix yesterday and they said the Skirt Chaser 5k will most likely be at Tempe Center for the Arts at 5:30.  I don't think there will be any way we can do both. Super bummed about that!

Some very sad news.  Rocky tore his meniscus in his knee.  Good news is they repaired it orthoscopically.  More sad news is that he is not to run via doctors orders for about 8 weeks.  The eight weeks starts after his follow-up appointment on the 19th of December.

His thoughts – not going to make Ragnar Relay.  His Solution – Josh ran college cross country and a 3:20 marathon – he can run for him.  Josh’s thought – Well the 3:20 was a few years ago, but would like to give it a shot.

ESCKTC thoughts – (post below

A body that can run is better than a body that cannot.....so if he can stand us (and our Chris's stink) I am all for the switch!

ANOTHER JOSH! UH OH! Nah that's cool, the other Josh's name on his birth certificate is actually Robot, Josh is his middle name.

I will get on the Ragnar team site and check about making the switch.

HEY come to the holiday party this weekend, we would love to get to know you better especially if we will be spending 24 hours in a VAN with you!! By the way, where in Hawaii did you live and WHY did you leave???
