A new week has arrived- what's on tap?
Monday- Rest
Tuesday-Run
Wed- Swim
Thurs-Bike
Fri-Run

We'll see if "life" get's in the way this week.

I think Wed. is p*ssing, Thurs. is moaning, and Fri. is a little of both.  "Life" has come up fast for this guy the last 3 weeks and I am hoping to see a light at the end of that tunnel (no, not the one after you take your final breath and then miraculously come back).

Sorry I have been missing lately.  Work has been crazy, then vacation and now back to more crazy work.  Got a little behind on the plan while on vacation, but I an back at it.  Ramped up a little quickly Tuesday, but a lot of stretching and I am feeling alright.

Swam a little on Tues(?) and ran last night - 4.4 miles.  Getting psyched with training more and better now that the weather is getting better.

Yesterday was gorgeous - of course it was a day I couldn't run.

Today I hope to go this morning although it is starting to rain...

Sun. March 16 - one day before St. Patrick's Day - decided to do a simple run.

3.63 miles.  Felt okay.  A little cool, but VERY doable weather.

How did Brian do today, Mr. Mentor?

Sorry for the delay- Bri finished in 32nd place out of 105 kids. Team tied for first but lost on the tiebreaking criteria.

Overall the kids had fun and I still got in my 8 mile run between rounds while the other parents went to the bar.

Ran 4.01 tonight at a 8:36 pace.  Felt good.  I'll be at the Illiana border celebrating my wife's cousin's post-wedding reception this weekend.  Have fun all!

I just got back from California - I  miss it allready.  Got in some skiing and a lot of running.  Now my body hurts but it is a good hurt.

Decided Lake Geneva half on May 10th is my short term goal.  I have a lot of work to do but I think I will be able to make it.  Definitly will not be able to defend my title but this time I will think more about enjoying the scenery.

BRICK today.  Since the Garmin's battery died within the 1st mile, I'll have to drive the route and get the distance marked off.  Guessed about 17 miles (winds were a little strong and plenty of hills along the route), and then a 2.02 mile BRICK.

Now, going to enjoy some cooking on the grill!

Does anyone know someone who might want to do the high cliff relay?  I can  do the run for either the spring or the half -   preferrably the half.

600 meters in the 50 meter pool at lunchtime.  I'm happy I did since I've been slacking.
