They where really good and I also did get to try some Hammer gels that came in some of my goodie bags. I didn't like the raspberry flavor at all, but the apple cinnamon wasn't too bad. |

I can also buy it in a jug, use my flask and recycle the bottle without tossing away all those packets. GU I love for if I miss a feeding and start to crash, it perks me up much faster than Hammer gel, but the energy from it seems more peaky and less even. |

It's like trying squeeze peanut butter out the little hole and sticks to the roof of my mouth. I'm in total agreement with the PowerBar gel for the vanilla, choc, double latte (my favorite) but with Hammer Gel for the fruitier flavors. Oh, apple cinnamon is the closest to dessert I've found.
