Hey, I didn't get to vote on a new thread, but I would have voted for it anyway, so I guess it all works out.

Goals: 267 current, 255 by the end of this month.

If Medifast keeps working for me like it has that should be doable. I'm gonna keep doing Medifast, cause it's actually WORKING, but man, it's restrictive. One day at a time I guess.

Hello Team Skinny! Lets see, started March at 159.8 this morning, meaning I met my February goal of losing at least six pounds!!

The goal for March is to lose 6-8 pounds! If I do that, I get to buy myself a prize..perhaps a smaller size pair of pants :-)

On a side note, I have decided to do an XTERRA Triathlon this July..I am semi freaking out! Words of wisdom/advice would be much appreciated!

Hello Everyone- love the new thread and I have a feeling it'll be a madness for me. I spent the last 2 days looking for a dress as I'm going to a wedding next weekend. Even though I dropped 1 size and fit into clothes I could have only dreamt of for the last 6 months it seems to be nothing in the dress' world. Bought nothing and ended up crying in the fitting room. In the middle of the dress madness I had a meal in an indian restaurant- as it's Mothers Day over here- normally it wouldn't be so bad but because of the whole shopping I didn't have breakfast so basically started my day with dinner- I'm very unhappy about it. I'll have to skip workouts until I get the dress (work load makes me choose) which is bad again and then to finish off this week there's the wedding- I don't even wanna go anymore as I literally have no dress and over here they make you eat a 4-5 course dinner in the space of 1,5hour and that's it - there's only drinking for the rest of the night. Sometimes there might be some finger food later (buttered sausages, potato wedges and mini-sandwiches). Now I'm sitting at home and dying for chocolate (sweets in general) and that hasn't happened in such a long time. That was my rant.

As to my March goal: get to 69kg or lower

Makukula:  Good luck.  Sounds like fun, but work as well.  Take it easy and just finish and enjoy yourself.

Cead:  It will come.  Relax and enjoy the journey.  Can't find time for a full workout then just try some Intervals for 20-30 min.  Walk/jog then go hard for 30 sec's then walk/jog fo hard for 30 sec.  Guaranteed to burn unwanted fat.  If done before work then do it with empty stomach and eat after and your whole day will be better.

That's why I like this thread.

I've started adding regular protein shakes to my food plan...I finally found some flavors that I like & that mix well. I also got a cool shaker (BlenderBall) to make the mixing easier.

So question for you, Saling...I know you drink protein shakes - do you eat them instead of a snack? Instead of a meal? So far this weekend, I've used them for my afternoon snack and that's working out OK - but I'm curious what other folks do.

I use them as a in between snack, not as a meal.  It tends to satiate hunger pretty well.

Thanks Saling. I'll try to do that every morning until I find the dress. Alternatively I can make one myself- that would really be something else and would catch attention allright

My goal for March is to be under 120 lbs preferably 118. My current weight is 123.

Cead: Indian food is my downfall. I love it and can't seem to eat it without eating waaaay too much. Luckily we don't have any Indian restaurants where I live, but I travel to a lot of places that do.

I weighed in today at 226.2 which puts me down 1.2 pounds from our last weigh in. I would be completely overjoyed if i could get to 219.9

So, my goal, as neurotic as it may be, is 6.3 pounds.

Great! My PT says I'm good to go as long as I feel ok. I walk/ran on Saturday and swam today...so far I feel good! Which means I may just get up and run hard tomorrow morning!

My goal for March...hmmmm...seeing that I gained weight due to the "No excercise" restriction I was on last week....The first two weeks, I just want to get my routine in of alternating run/bike everyother day with a swim on sundays.

As for my weight...well, is FOUR pounds so much to ask for? Four plus pounds is ideal. Plus, I want my jeans to feel comfortable again. I can't believe how one week can throw your body off?!

I've already started it. I've had to modify it when unexpected things come up. I think I'm probably around 6 or 7 weeks into it.

Just don't overdo it, and put yourself back in the same position. Remember your stretches too, they'll help tremendously.

Sure can Whatmomwants.  We weigh in on Wed's (sort of) and try to set monthly attainable goals.  Even though we use a scale to track progress I try to get people to pay attention to their body more for motivation.  If you look through last months thread you will see some that the scale didn't change much, but their clothes did and the comments that received were awesome.

You can ask questions on almost anything, training, weight loss, eating, etc..

I've been too lazy to post anything for quite some time. I keep track of it in an Excel workbook. I'm not doing too badly. I'm trying to get caught up on my swimming, but that should be easy enough if I could just train myself to swim with my face in the water. Biking seems to be the easiest for me. I am looking forward to getting outside so I can see what it's like to not run on a treadmill.
