Veteran 1773 Dayton, OH | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (April Pleasures) comet the dog - 2008-04-01 9:50 PM sounds like you are doing great, keep it up. Thanx, getting past the 190's has been a big step and was equally big in how challenging it's been. I just have to keep it there or lose some more. |

Drink anything you want so long as it's coffee, wine, shots of 151, or Diet Pepsi. 3. Whatever you do, don't shoot the dog, or mess with canadians bearing 9mm's. 4. Keep away from the candy jar at work, or not, whatever! 5. Eat fried fish and chips. 5a-avoid veggies at all costs 6. Give advice and support to your teammies 7. Don't forget your ankle stretches. 8. Skinny jeans are for girls! 9. Check for toilet paper if someone's flirting with their eyes. 10. Eat something, except coffee all day! 11. Make sure you have head phones on underneath your helmet. 12. And by all means, nevermind the scale, it's all a conspiracy anyway! Felt an impending need to give you a hand on this one saling. :) Edited by comet the dog 2008-04-01 9:09 PM |

Leave it to the crazies in this group to not be able to have 12 steps in a 12-step program. You know you're a triathlete when... (big breath) you're shoe shopping and find a very cute pair of red patent leather heels with a very sexy peep toe and wonder if they're going to rub blisters because if they rub blisters you might not be able to do the run part of your training and your race is coming up soon and if you can't do all of your training you might not be able to finish and if you are able to finish you might be one of those people who stumble across the finish line in desperate need of oxygen and if you do stumble across the finish line you won't have one of those good 'first triathlon finish' pictures like a lot of the people here at BT do and you really want one of those pictures because otherwise no one is ever going to believe that you're an honest to goodness triathlete. Needless to say, I didn't get the shoes |

Extreme Veteran 642 Chicagoland | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (April Pleasures) I stumbled on this site tonight and for those of us who are new to strength training and don't remember jack from anatomy classes, it gives a good overview of where each muscle is and when you click on the muscle, it tells you which exercises to do for that muscle. http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html Is it nerdy that I'm as excited about this site as I am? |

Veteran 455 Limerick, Ireland | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (April Pleasures) Ok so it's Wednesday and another weight report- much dreaded by me due to certain condition I'm regularly suffering from- so here it is: Monday (31/03/08): 70.4kg today: 68.6kg Well it seems like my job for this month is done and I can just sit back and relax Just kidding! I'm soooooooooooooo happy- this also means that I probably reached my March goal and it's just this thing of mine that somewhat alterd last weighing in. Anyway, I think I should change my April goal which is now: reach 67.9 or don't go over 69kg (despite Paris and birthday celebrations). Hope you all have a great Wednesday! |

I swear the mind plays tricks on ya, as I was feeling like things were going downhill, but what a surprise: 140.5 Good Luck Everyone with their continuing goals!!! |

Looking good so far. Kappie: Sorry about the shoes. How about a nice pair of Asics nimbus 9's in red and cut a sexy toe peek in them? Now I am coming up with some good ideas. |

Not nerdy at all. It is a pretty good website. Just keep in mind that bodyweight exercises will do you you just fine. |

Veteran 223 Near Lake Tahoe, NV | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (April Pleasures) First Wednesday of the month, hopefully April is better than March. Last week: 249.8 This week: 248.2 Only down a pound and a half, but I will take slow and steady progress over nothing at all. I am hoping to at least get to the 230s by the end of the month. Good luck to everyone in April! |

Master 2005 Silverton, Oregon | Subject: RE: Team Skinny (April Pleasures) dreaded this weigh in because I've been sick the last couple days, and not the vomiting or don't want to eat kind of sick, but the I feel miserable and want to eat everything in sight and lay on the couch kind of sick. Still don't feel well, but I'm training today anyway cause laying on the couch is definitely not making me feel any better. Todays weigh in 121 Last week 119.4 Shooting for under 115 in April which will be my final weight goal.
