Ok, I'm a day or two late and a few dollars short but I would love to be in with either team.
I'm currently 6'2" 234lbs. shooting for 200lbs. I would love to complete an Oly distance tri in Sept. and I enjoy all the support and motivation I get on this site. Hope it's not to late to join. Thanks Chris

Is it too late to join a team? Just got back from a week ski trip and saw this posting. I'd love to be a part of this.

Thanks so much,
Mic

No, it is not to late. Just send me a note and you will be assigned to a team. There are about 4-5 more people I will add tomorrow. We will accept people if they want to join as the challenge continues.

Male
Age: 32
Height: 6'
Current: 204lbs.
Goal: 180-185lbs.

Training for a 5k in March, Sprint duathlon in May, Try-a-Tri in June. Hopefully this will help and I can accomplish my goal. The hardest part for me is trying to watch my diet and eat properly

OK,
I've started today. I just returned from joining the YMCA and plan on getting back into tri shape.

37 year old female
height: 5'3"
weight: 162
goal: 145 then we'll go from there.

Hey, does anyone know if you can take into account the weight of your "chest"? I'm a DD cup, that's gotta be a few extra pounds, right?

Kathy,

This sounds just perfect for where I'm at.

Female
Age: 36
Height: 5'4"
Frame: med
Weight: 150
Goal: 125

I just had my second child and gained SIXTY POUNDS! Yikes! Anyway, now I'd like to really get moving and get this weight off! I have a goal of doing my first triathlon on August 7th, 2005 (TRI FOR A CURE in DENVER) with my mom and my aunt. I live in Saudi Arabia so I will have to train on my own so this online site might be my ticket for motivation. I did print off a 6 month training program from this site but it's a little overwhelming trying to START!

Kathy,

Forgot to tell you my name is Adrienne. Also, how will we find out the teams and if we are able to be part of a team?

Thanks,
A.

I had computer problems this weekend and couldn't get online for three days and no time to try hours to fix it.

Any of you that wrote me saying that you wanted to join, I will be adding new people to a team on Tuesday. If you don't see your name, you may have been deleted by accident with my computer issues (I'm sorry but we still want you in our challenge). Please email me directly...my inbox keeps getting full and I can't write you back very easily. My email address is [email protected]. Also put weightloss challenge as the subject so I know your email isn't spam.

I think our total goal weight loss is now over 1000 pounds!!

What I need from everyone is the following:
Your age
MaleFemale
Current Weight
Goal Weight
Height-optional
Training plans-optional

I have decided for now that we will accept people into the challenge until Feb. 1st.
