What has made you happy today?

Getting up this morning at 5:00 a.m. to run my tribute 5K for Christine (Lucy).

Not waking up my 3-1/2 year old and letting him sleep in.

Learning new stuff at work to lighten the load for a fellow colleague.

Inspired some fellow BTers/Donkai Team members.

Replying to this thread.

Laughed at a different colleague's quirky joke.

The happiest - giving my wife and 3-1/2 year old son (after he got up) a hug and kiss before I left for work.  Sad because the other two older sons were still sleeping.

All 200+ employees of my company. I had the privilege of disbursing quarterly bonus checks today, the biggest one we've had, and the result the collective efforts of a dedicated group of employees.

Today has been a smiley, fun day.

I woke up this morning above ground so that is always the start to a good day.

It is Friday.

I swam this morning.

What more can you ask for.

I kiss on Mr trixie's cheek while he was still sleeping before I left this morning.

Gus (my puppy) glued to my side while getting ready for work.

A phone call from a friend. 

I'm not at liberty to say.

Today is a scheduled rest day and I get to pick my dog Eddy up after work.

Race weekend activity starts today for my first oly and first big race ever

All of the well wishes from friends and family

My new S-Works helmet came off backorder and arrived in time for my race

Looking forward to a beer this afternoon (but only one, it's race weekend )

Woke up with the thought of yesterday's awesome hilly bike ride, yay!

Had a nice off topic chat with my coworker this morning; his grand daughter (9 y/o) is being recruited by a kids triathlon coach, yay!

Found out this morning that I will be getting my Reynolds Assault wheels next week, yay!

It's Friday, yay!

Looking forward to my long ride tomorrow and run/swim tonight, yay!

Life is good, yay!

I got to have breakfast with my not-granddaughter-granddaughter who is two years old and a charmer.  She "fixed her own breakfast"

My almost-six-year-old boy drew me a picture of hearts with a "love kiss" in the middle this morning....

My eight-year-old daughter's hair had a serious party last night and she looks completely ridiculous (that made both of us smile!)....

It's another beautiful sunny summer day which means a trip to the pool later so I can get my workout in while my kids romp and stomp in the water....

I survived yesterday's workout without being too awful sore today, which means I'm getting stronger....

My hubby accidentally turned off his alarm clock in his sleep, so we all slept in this morning...happiness is a warm snuggly hubby....

It's nice to think about all of the things I'm thankful for rather than just worrying about stuff and being frustrated all of the time.  Thanks for the reminder!

Day off today. I was going to get up and do an ocean swim (which would have been great), but I really needed to rest alittle.

So I slept in - almost unheard for me.   It was great !!!

I am going to read today, see an old friend, and talk to some family members on the phone and catch up.

Hanging out with my wife and dog will be the best part.
