Pre-race routine:

Ate a bowl of oatmeal and drank a cup of coffee. My friend Becky and her parents were there, so I chatted with them and another lady we know, Theresa, before the event.
Event warmup:

I stretched some and jogged a little.

Comments:

I felt like I was going a little faster than usual, but my time does not reflect that. It's pretty much in line with my typical 5K time.
What would you do differently?:

I've just GOT to get faster.
Post race
Warm down:

Stretched and drank some more water.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not doing speedwork and not running more.
