What a day, today. I survived, love those hills, um I loved them twice.

Thanks all for being so welcoming and making a great day even better.

THanks!

The weather was great! Nice to meet some new BT people. And, of course, good to see the regulars too. Looking forward to a few more sessions before Season Opener!

Hey there dointris.  I'm not sure how you have BT configured but I am getting up to 3 & 4 emails everytime you post to the message board.  Please see if you can reconfigure how you send out your posts.

Thanks in advance

I just signed up for this one as well! Also in the Newbie wave!

Getting a little nervous as it's getting closer and I still don't have a bike yet...though I've been riding a lot at the gym. But my wetsuit comes this week!

I suggest either doing the clinic and/or finding out from someone else how to approach the OWS. It isn't hard, it's just easier if you have some tips and strategies. Such as how to start the swim, sighting the buoys and so on. What to do if you overdo it and need a rest (roll over onto your back and float), what to do before you exit the water so you can run (kick a little more so that blood gets into your legs)... little things like that which will help you enjoy the race more.

If you come to the swims we'll be doing at Hopkinton State Park in April just ask anyone and you'll get a good array of opinions - just choose what is best for you.
