My weight this morning was 168.8. My goal is at least 2-3 pounds a week. (will that work, if not I will give a weight)

Ok, I am back in, but I'm not so good checking in every week.  I will at least check in at the beginning and at the end of the month.  Hopefully I will remember to check in on Wednesdays too!

I weighed 145.5 yesterday.  My goal for April will be 140.

After lurking through 83 pages of the "am, I crazy to try HIM" thread, I'm finally going to join one of these. BTW great job Leah!

So do we weigh in once a week?

This morning - 152.6

Goal - 146

I'm 5"4' and if I make this goal I will be in the "healthy" weight range for the first time in my adult life. I weighed about 200 (I quit weighing at 199 out of pure denial) when I graduated from college and have SLOWLY, PAINFULLY, lost almost 50 lbs over the last 9 years. I've been stuck here in the low 150's for 2 years and need to focus! If I make this goal I will dance in the streets, sing from the mountaintops and OH MY GOD run in a sports bra. Hopefully posting my weight on the interwebs will give me the push that I need.

Hello everyone!  I'm back again and hoping to make some progress this month.  I did end up losing a little last month but not much.  I'm setting small goals this month because I will be out of town part of the month and will be tapering and recovering from a couple of races so my workout schedule will be a little lighter. Plus I don't want to have another month of disappointment from not hitting my weight goal.  I was 202.2 when I weighed in yesterday. My goal for the month is 199.  My golden dream goal if everything goes perfectly and all the planets align is 195, but I'll be happy with 199.

LOL, you just have to find the right bra! They make some super strong two layer, I swear as strong as titanium, sports bras that got me moving even when I was a DD! I will always laugh at what the sports stores consider a "bra".

OK, I am in. Yes I have started before, but what choose do I have but to start again. I have to make choices everyday. I consider my prior attempts to be practice runs.
I am using a bodybugg, so I can see that I didn't workout as hard as I thought I was and I was eating more than I thought I was.

I am starting at 169, and at a muscular 5'1" a healthy weight for me is 140. I blew up to 200 after staying home with kids and dropped 25#s easily when I stopped the junk food. I have been stuck at around 170 for a few years.

My goal for April is 165 - one pound per week.

Hello Team Skinny,

I found this site last month and have just been lurking.  My goal is to do a 5K this fall and a tri next summer.  I know that is a long way away, but I'm going to take it slow and easy and make permanent changes.  I've lost 17 pounds in the last 2 months, but I have a long way to go.  I'm using fitday to log all food and exercise (thanks for the tip, I learned it from reading all the old threads).  I used to be thin, but I also ate next to nothing (800-1200 calories per day) and I exercised like a mad woman, sometimes to the point of throwing up and getting dizzy.  After having 3 kids and developing a thyroid condition I really ballooned up.   I tried a few times to get the weight off, but my all or nothing attitude got in the way.  I don't keep processed food in the house and gave up my 2 vices more than a year ago (caff free diet coke and honey in my tea), but I was still gaining weight.  It was so frustrating reading articles about just giving up junk food and losing weight, when there was no junk food in my diet except for a dessert at holiday dinners.  I finally got myself to the doctor on Feb. 2nd and he put me on 175 mcg of Levothyroxine and started me on hormone replacement (I had stopped getting my period two years ago at the age of 35).  Since then I have been feeling tremendously better and I've been losing weight (yippee!).  I've been eating more than ever averaging 1750-1800 calories a day and I starting exercising slowly, but increasingly.  I do weight training 2-3 times per week and I either go on the ellipitcal machine or walk (4 mph) 5-6 times per week.  This past weekend I added running a short distance into my runs, man I'm out of shape.  

OK, enough of the novel.  If you'll have me, I'd like to join Team Skinny.  I weighed in at a whopping 215 yesterday.  My goal for the month of April is 208.

GOAL FOR APRIL----219!

Other goal for April, 10K in under 1:20 (4/17)

Started the month at 244.8lbs
Goal for the end of the month 236 lbs - hard but surley that's what challenges and goals are about!

But better goal for me would be better nutrition and then hopefully the weight would be the result.  In any case, if I hit 200, that will be 40 lbs total in 5 years... it sure is alot easier to put them on than take them off.  Have a great April everyone (no fooling!)
