I ran with Kara from work. This was the longest race she has done and she was a little finish the race. I told she could and even if she didn't we could call Ken to come get us.
She did great. We started at the middle of the pack and just ran. I tried to lay off some but kept her moving. She reported that at the 10K we ten minutes ahead of the last weekends training run. We walked the rest stops. I stopped to find a bush and to talk to my friend Ann. I heard later Kara was saying I just ran around and played while she plugged along. I let her finish first basically because she was running faster then me at that time. I think she was ready for it to be done.

Two hotdogs and ride home.


I had a good time helping her out. I have a lot of pay forward for all the times Marmadaddy ran with me through a race.
