August East-West Run/Jog/Wog/Walk Challenge!

Champion  23360      Taser-World |  Subject: August East-West Run/Jog/Wog/Walk Challenge!August Run/Jog/Wog/Walk TEAM Challenge! This will be a East versus West TEAM challenge! For this challenge, you can run, jog, wog, walk, water-jog or crawl.  To determine which team you're on, divide your city/town in half. Are you on the east or the west? That's your team. -- If you live in the east, you're on the EAST team. -- If you live in the west, you're on the WEST team. At the end of the month, the winning team(s) will win the challenge. All other (non-winning) teams will change their avatar to something run/walk related. To participate: Sign up on this Google spreadsheet: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0An7ZkKfHG1L1dHp... To access the spreadsheet, you will need to enter the following information: email address: [email protected] password: challengeforum If you can't access the spreadsheet: Scroll to the bottom, and look at the bottom right corner. If it says, "edit this page," click that link and enter the info above. (Once you have access to the spreadsheet, you can share it with your 'regular' email address by clicking the "share" button at the top right.) The ultimate goal of this Challenge is to push yourself in an activity (or activities), to work out, to meet fellow BTers (virtually or otherwise), and to have some fun! I'm in, although I'm not sure what team to be on because my "town" is in the middle of no where and there is no real center. I'm east of the post office so I'll go with that. I'll have to figure out my goal tonight and put it in the spreadsheet. |

I am dead-center south, so I will declare it West. Hopefully I will have company. Will double check the plan, but I think it's 98 for the month. |

I have just started running again after 10 weeks off to recover, so we will see what happens. Oh and it has been several months since I have been in a challenge, this should be fun. |

I live in the country - but going with the "post office" as a refernce point - I'm on the East team - I put in a goal of 100 miles. That is subject to a bump up as I am part of a Relay team this weekend for St. Jude and have a timed ultra next weekend. Not sure how much I will get in over those two workouts - but I may up it to 120.

I am just starting back running after completing failing to run since my half marathon back in November. I am in week 4 of C25K so this works perfectly with the type of "running" I am doing now. I am just getting back to jogging and I have a 10k in October. So thank you, Dee, for setting up this challenge. I am on the spreadsheet with 46 miles for my goal. I feel responsible for aiding your redemption ... that, and I live just on the eastern side of a small isthmus leading to the South peninsula of Bali. If you count it as part of the peninsula, then I'm way on the east side. |
