A couple that I've had lately:

Vehicles get better gas mileage in the warm weather than cold weather.

Hyena are more closely related to cats and mongoose than dogs.

Have any?

Total blonde moment...while watching a honey badger documentary, I figured out why they're called honey badgers...I never put it together! At least I learned something. I guess. Learned a lot of other things too, but that was the best.

That's a pretty good one :)

Somehow my husband hadn't seen the "Honey Badger doesn't give a ___" Youtube until the other day. That thing is pure gold.

beat me too it.

Today I learned a real zombie apocalypses should only last for a few days.

I remembered when my cousin who is allergic to eggs found out there is egg in egg drop soup. That is the day he found out he was not allergic eggs and diary and a lot of other things. His family just said he was because his 4 older brothers and sisters were so they assumed he was too.

I didn't know how to efficiently fold a fitted sheet or efficiently put on a pillow case until I was over 40...

These examples with the answer in the name--"honey" and "egg" are making me feel better.

I have moments like this more often than I care to admit

Those temperature gages on the front of BBQ grills are very inaccurate. More importantly, even if you have one that is accurate, it will most likely not do any good. They give you the temperature in the top of you grill lid which is not important to know. The temperature that is important to know is the one that is measured at grate level. Because that's where you are cooking your food, on the grate, not up inside the grill lid.

Haha was going to leave that one alone, but since Brad opened the door... Uh yeah... that video is annoying as hell.

I have a long history with PBS Nature and George Page and  my husband runs a nature education program for kids.  The contrast of those experiences with the effimanite, foul-mouthed voice over hit me just right. I was crying-laughing by the time we got to "Little does he know he's been stung by the cobra."

Does that mean your husband can answer the question of "what does the Fox say"?

Actually, yes :)

That song has had an enormous amount of airtime in our house--kids 8, 7, 3 and they LOVE it.  It has only recently been superceded by "Let It Go" from Frozen.  *Sigh*

I keed, I keed!

By golly, I actually think I could do that.

I even stayed with it after she said "One of the biggest challenges you'll face in your life is how to fold a fitted sheet." ;)

Why do I have the feeling it's been years since you've folded a fitted sheet Aaron?

When you're done with that:  You can fold my T-shirts.

And, today I learned that St Patrick was Welsh, not Irish.

OK, I didn't know that about St. Patrick either, but I'm Scottish ;P

Ryan, do you know what is great about that particular t-shirt folding video?  The man + southern accent + telestrator.  Not that southern men with an affinity for football play-by-play can't be folding aficionados, but, well I'm willing to bet most aren't.
