Happy Friday. Today's weight 174 so down 1 I'll take it with all the junk I've been eating. Have a great New Year's everyone.

I'm setting myself up for disappointment, because I'm certain this isn't accurate, but after several measurements this morning: 169.0

Ooops.  Weighed in at 175.2.  Had a huge meal late last night and I've had a severe back sprain for the last 3 weeks so haven't been able to walk much let alone train except for swimming.  Will start going for long brisk walks as of today.  Can we change my starting weight to 175.2?  I can get a note from my doctor if required.

I don't see a problem with that, since you came in during the week and this is actually your first Friday weigh-in.  We'll make this week your starting week.  Hope you get to feeling better.

That was a miracle after xmas food. And then last night I have a pound of pasta, 20 clams, half a loaf of bread, bottle of wine, 2 beers. Yeah I got my chow on. I walked by the seafood asile and saw the clams sitting there and it all sprung from there.

Sorry i didn't check in on Friday. I was in Ft. Myers off and on from Xmas till New Years. Now, tomorrow is weigh in day again, and my only hope is that I will be the same as I was in the beginning of the challenge . I managed to gain 5 pounds during Xmas week, but now it is back down to just over what my start weight was. My hope is that by tomorrow morning I will be back where I started when this challenge began. Sucks!!

Whew, I did it!  I was scared there for a day or so, but I managed to get some weight off.  It amazes me how I can run a 31-mile ultra and still gain weight!  But yay, I'm back down to where I was last week and can post a small loss.  157.0.

Hope everyone's week went well.  I will have to wait til Monday to do the spreadsheet this week, Sunday is the Disney Marathon.

176, I'll take it!  It's amazing how you change your diet from all the food you ate over th Holidays and then you drop down again.

Jeff- good luck at Disney!  Lobo and I will be at PF Changs next weekend.

183.2

I am up a few pounds, but I knew that would happen with the increase in training and the addition of weight training this week.  I have been eating good, so this is can be dealt with.

Thanks Mike!  Ya know it's funny...I actually considered hopping a plane next weekend to do Changs to increase my marathon maniacs rating...but airfare was too expensive.    Great work this week!  Enjoy your taper!

I guess I am the biggest non-loser this week. I am 150.2, which is barely lower than my starting weight!! Oh, I am so pissed! It's so easy to gain and so hard to lose.

I knew last week was a fluke. Still, down overall at 170.2 this morning.

My 70-mile ride and 16-mile run this week-end should help.

Wow, Dennis, that is a tough weekend coming up!! I am doing a 1/2 mary tomorrow and a full mary on Sunday, but I find that my weight always goes UP after long workouts or races. I will NOT accept another weight gain week, though! I will lose!!

Dennis, my training level is nowhere NEAR yours! I guess that is why you will kick at IMAZ and I will have another 14:30 finish! Oh well!

I would be estatic to finish IMAZ in the 13:30 club, but this being my first I'm going to take one discipline at a time.
