Awesome run. I beat my previous half-marathon PR by almost 7 minutes (2006 LI Half Marathon was in 2:13:56).

I am really proud of my progress and the way I ran today. I think my nutrition/hydration plan was perfect. I drank at every mile marker and I had half a GU packet at 30 minutes, 1 hour and a whole packet at 1:40.

Great job Mike on your PR!!!  You're right it was a boring course, and I only did 5k. Sorry we didn't have more time to chat, but I'm sure we'll bump into each other again...or hopefully even go on a few training rides together!  Congrats again!

Nice work. Definatly long and boring, although I was able to focus way down the road and just run in a trance.
