Hello everyone!

My August workouts are in since today is a rest day for me. Swim and bike is okay but my run mileage is a little low due some foot problems early in the month.

Swim: 8h 01m 52s - 23605 Yd
Bike: 24h 36m 04s - 392.43 Mi
Run: 11h 10m 44s - 59.07 Mi

I'm in a build phase for IMAZ and there's gonna be lots more biking and running for sure the coming months.

How did your month go?

=^.^=

What is this rest day you speak of?

Bike: 29h 31m 28s - 834.66 KM
Run: 10h 16m 11s - 114.37 KM

I don't have my swims logged here but it hasn't been much this month.  I seem to have spent a lot of time on my bike and not enough time running!  That will change for the next two months as I prep for a HM in October.

Swim - 6.17 miles - 10,900 yds
Bike - 202.4 miles
Run - 50.25 miles

Taper starts today for my first triathlon (Olympic) on Sunday.

I was hoping to get a little more time in than what is listed, but we've been gone every weekend this month, making sure we enjoy every last minute of summer before school starts for the kids. I've taken to sneaking away for 2- 3 mile runs at the park, and even swimming back and forth at the lake while the kid's play. My wife has been a trooper through it all. I'm not going for any significant time, since anything I post will be a PR! My only two goals are to finish the run without walking, and to cross the line under 3 hours.

I am also building for AZ. Looking to start stretching out long rides and runs. Happy with how the month went but also fighting nagging little injuries that pop up.

Swim: 7h 03m 18s - 19981 Yd
Bike: 23h 30m 36s - 419.7 Mi
Run: 11h 23m 45s - 140.6 Mi

Did you run exactly 140.6 miles on purpose.  a good omen for IMAZ.

me- 228 run miles this month.  Was shooting for 250, but I twisted my foot and missed my long runs this weekend.  oh well.

I noticed that too. Just coincidence but yes, a very good omen. I should hopefully run much further in Sept if I want to do well in AZ

This has been a pretty solid month for me. Biking has been my strength, and running has improved too. I would have wanted more swimming, though.

Not much biking for me as my last race of the season (Saturday) is a swim-run event. Swim not quite as much as I'd like owing to some pool closures for maintenance and crazy time at work (first weeks of school year) but not too bad:

Swim: 10h12m35s (34,000m)
Bike 7h30m (All trainer rides--just too lazy to take the bike out and weather has not been that great.)
Run: 17h12m9s Maybe about 120 miles. (I just track time, not distance.)

swim: 4 hours, 45 minutes
bike: 32 hours, 11 minutes for 484 miles
run: 49 hours for 139 miles

I need to get swim time up, the bike was fabulous, the run - well, I need to get faster. Best month ever for biking. I am shooting for 20 hours for September. hopefully the cold weather holds off

You all are beasts!

I'm only working on towards sprint triathlons at this point (although next year I'm going to gear up to do Oly and a HIM distance Aqua-bike). My August numbers are embarrassingly low compared to what has already been posted. I also did less than previous months due to pool closing for cleaning, feet hurting, and taking a bit of a break in general. Getting back at it this month and working toward building a decent running base.

Swim: 12.6 miles (I usually swim 18-20 miles / month)
Bike: 137 miles (mix of mountain biking and road biking)
Run: 19.4 miles

I bet I win when it comes to aquajogging volume   (third metatarsal stress fracture -- no running, was off the bike for two weeks, and had to OWS instead of pool swim for a while)

Swim: 14 hr, 41 min, 8 sec

Bike: 18 hr, 21 min, 55 sec

Aquajogging: 26 hr, 26 min

Lots of bike on the trainer so mileage is not accurate

I'll play! Building for IMLOU!
Swim volume is low, but my excuse is that for the past three IMs, no matter how much swim volume I put in, I am within 60 seconds each time. Love the bike volume, it is paying off for me this season for sure.

Swim: 4h 22m 30s - 13553.86 Yd
Bike: 32h 12m 14s - 523.69 Mi
Run: 19h 41m 33s - 98.67 Mi

good catch. totally my bad. I didn't even do the quick math in my head, just copied and pasted the logs. they were including the ride portion of my 70.3 race into my run. I had a great race but that would have included catching a ride or cutting the course, which seems to be en vogue these days. revised totals below:

Swim: 7h 03m 18s - 19981.19 Yd
Bike: 20h 56m 29s - 360.41 Mi
Run: 11h 23m 45s - 81.46 M

I was just looking and noticed people that had similar run mileage to mine.

I saw DutchCrush at 139 in 49 hours which blows me away. Anyone that can run 49 hours in a month has my respect
Then I saw you at 140 in 11hours.

Quite the contrast.

You guys are animals! Killer to read all those stats after a month's work.

137 mile of running this month. Was hoping for more but I got sick and missed almost a week total.
